About Brucejack

Our Brucejack Gold Mine, a high-grade underground mine in beautiful northern British Columbia, is located approximately 65 kilometres north of Stewart. Brucejack is a fly-in/fly-out operation with pick-up points across Western Canada, making it easy for people from different places to join us. We work closely with local First Nations communities including the Nisga’a, Tahltan, Gitanyow, and Gitxsan, to build respectful partnerships and celebrate our shared community.

About the Role

Your Impact
As a Surface Dispatch, you will play a key role in coordinating aviation and surface fleet operations. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety will ensure smooth logistics, accurate scheduling, and compliance with Newmont’s high safety standards.

As Part of Our Team, You Will:

  • Monitor and manage aviation dispatch and flight operations
  • Oversee Pitram and surface fleet equipment management
  • Maintain accurate flight records and troubleshoot scheduling issues
  • Audit and manage site Aviation Management Program and SOP documentation
  • Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports for operations
  • Manage data entry for KPIs, training schedules, and operator training matrices
  • Support onboarding of new hires and contractors through Avetta
  • Assist departments with administrative duties and monitor multiple email accounts

Prerequisites for Your Success in This Role:

  • 1-2 years of experience in aviation management, fleet management, or air traffic control
  • Experience in working in remote locations or camp
  • Incident Management Training and ROC-A (Restricted Operator Certificate)
  • Ability to read and communicate coordinates via radio using the phonetic alphabet
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat
  • Experience with JD Edwards and SAP
  • Strong understanding of workplace safety procedures
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and organizational skills

Your Work Environment:

  • Remote camp setting with accommodations provided
  • Rotational schedule: 13 days on / 13 days off / 2 days on / 12 days off
  • Work in close quarters with a team in extreme weather conditions
  • Pre-employment medical screening and drug testing required

We are now recruiting for the position of Surface Dispatch with a competitive annual base salary of $77,600 - 97,000 plus incentives. The expected salary range for this role is CA$$77,600 - 97,000 + 10% STI . This range is tied to the British Columbia market for jobs performed in British Columbia. The salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, and/or experience.
