Northern Lights Public Schools invites internal applications for the following position:
S2324-109 Assistant Custodian - Ardmore School
We are seeking a part-time (0.50 fte) Assistant Custodian to commence as soon as possible. The assignment involves assisting the Head Custodian and working after school hours for 4 hours per day, Monday to Friday.
Ardmore School is located in the Hamlet of Ardmore with approximately 125 students in grades K to 8. Ardmore School's mission is to grow learning and achieve together while building lifelong learners through support and diversity.
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Perform a variety of custodial and maintenance duties essential to maintain the cleanliness and care of the school facilities
Monitor and report meter readings
Inspect grounds, play equipment and structures
Preference will be given to applicants who have:
Physical ability to do the required work
Ability to communicate respectfully and professionally with all levels of school personnel and students
Ability to work in a team environment
Committed to building an atmosphere of trust, competence, confidentiality and positive service to the school and community
Previous CUPE custodial experience
