The opportunity
This role is crucial for enhancing continuous improvement and operational efficiencies in Global Total Rewards. The candidate will analyze current Benefits & Wellbeing processes, identify gaps and opportunities for efficiency and automation, prioritize remediation, and implement certain improvements. The goal is to boost productivity, streamline processes, and enhance the employee experience.
Who you'll work withYou will interact with various internal partners across the People & Culture division as well as the broad organization.
What you'll doProcess mapping existing activities based on existing documentation and practices
Recommending and creating new process mapping
Identify opportunities for Workday efficiencies
Creation of Documentation and collateral (administrative guides and knowledge base materials) for Benefits & Wellbeing, People Operations and Payroll
Creation of communication guides or training materials for Employees and People Managers
Coordination with Benefits & Wellbeing team to update intranet content with newly written documentation and communications pieces
Contribute to other related continuous improvement opportunities in the Benefits, Wellbeing and Retirement space
Contribute to the scoping and/or implementation of other benefits or leave policy/plan changes
This role will work with the Benefits & Wellbeing Specialist and the Benefits & Wellbeing Manager, and will report to the Director, Benefits & Wellbeing.
University degree, preferably in HR, business administration, operations management, design, or related field
5-7 years of Benefits, Absence Management or Total Rewards experience in Canada and/or globally
Experience managing or drafting Benefits, Absence Management or Leave practices, processes, and policies
Familiarity with Health & Safety legislation and policies is an asset
Knowledge of HRIS Systems (i.e. Workday) is an asset
Innovative thinking and problem-solving skills, and a customer-focused/employee-focused mind-set are crucial
Proven ability to create a strategic plan and implement recommendations.
Project management experience, incorporating a change management approach
Solutions focused with a simple and practical approach
Excellent interpersonal communication skills (oral and written), with the ability to address individual perspectives of those you are advising
