Job Overview:

Responsibilities:

Production Management:

  • Supervise daily production activities.
  • Prioritize work orders in coordination with the planner.
  • Assign work orders and workers to respective workstations.
  • Ensure adherence to production schedules.
  • Monitor progress and execution of work orders, updating manufacturing progress in the system.

Process Optimization:

  • Implement daily management system meetings.
  • Measure Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to evaluate objectives achievement.
  • Ensure production processes meet safety, quality, on-time delivery, and cost requirements.
  • Identify and resolve production issues, coordinating problem-solving tasks.
  • Estimate and validate production cycle times
  • Address production bottlenecks to maintain workflow.

Quality Control:

  • Implement finished products Quality Control program.
  • Complete non-conformity reports for manufactured materials.
  • Investigate quality issues during manufacturing or product installation.
  • Collaborate with engineers and technicians to establish quality control processes.

Team Management:

  • Identify staffing needs and oversee hiring and onboarding processes.
  • Address training needs to achieve objectives, conducting performance reviews.
  • Enforce company policies, labor rules, safety regulations.
  • Manage employee timesheets and resolve concerns impartially.
  • Provide cross-training opportunities to enhance team skills.
  • Collaboration and Improvement:
  • Foster teamwork with other managers.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement in production.
  • Collaborate with the software team to improve the resource planning software

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or technical degree in a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in production management or related roles.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and implement process improvements.
  • Proficiency in computer systems and production management software.
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Commitment to quality and efficiency.
