The Office Clerk supports the Principal and main Office Administrator at an Elementary School. Under the direction of the Principal, the Office Clerk:
provides secretarial and administrative services for the Principal and staff;
acts as a receptionist;
maintains office records;
orders school supplies;
performs other duties, as assigned by the supervisor.
Required Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:
Secondary School Diploma;
three years of related experience;
proficiency in word processing and Google Workspace;
previous experience with PowerSchool, Apply to Education (ATE), Bus Planner, student registration;
excellent organizational and interpersonal skills;
tact, diplomacy and discretion;
ability to work independently.
In addition, the following will be considered an asset:
First Aid training;
Post secondary education.
This is a permanent, full-time, ten (10) month position with an annual salary range of $43,388 - $46,855. A comprehensive employee benefits package is also provided. This position is dependent upon student enrollment and school locations are subject to change.
The effective date is approximately August 26, 2024.
