ECS Teacher

We are seeking an organized, creative and caring individual to join our team. You must be able to plan, prepare and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences. Ideally, you will exhibit a love for children along with an appreciation for their spontaneity. You will provide a fun environment with mentally stimulating elements encouraging a love for learning. You will be responsible for the day to day operations of the ECS classroom while setting the foundation needed to develop lifelong learning skills. You must have strong interpersonal and communication skills and be able to adapt to the diverse needs of the students.

This is a full time probationary assignment to commence as soon as possible. Preference will be given to an applicant with a degree in Elementary Education along with experience teaching at Division I level. You must hold a valid Alberta teaching certificate.

Green Dome Islamic School is located in North East Calgary along Metis Trail and provides an Islamic learning environment that offers an accredited program of studies compliant with the Alberta Education curriculum. Green Dome is a K-4 school that offers a wide variety of learning opportunities including regular classroom studies as well as foreign language and computer sciences.
