We are currently looking for responsible, supportive Educational Assistants to complement our team. You must exhibit a strong interest in working with children, be friendly in nature and be sensitive towards children’s needs. Early Childhood Training and/or previous experience working with speech and language development would be an asset.
This is for partial to full-time FTE temporary positions working with PUF students in J.C. Charyk Hanna School. The position is to commence immediately, however, hours will be determined based on student needs and applicant availability. You may be required to work up to 30 hours per week providing additional support to the classroom teachers with special educational needs. You also must be able to exhibit the associated skills to communicate with students and teachers in a meaningful and professional manner. You will be expected to present yourself as an organized and professional representative of the staff, both in person, on the telephone and through correspondence. Previous experience working within a fast-paced, team environment would be an asset.
