Grade 4 Teacher

We are seeking an organized, creative and caring individual to join our team. You must be able to plan, prepare and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences. Ideally, you will exhibit a love for children along with an appreciation for the spontaneity. You will provide a fun environment with mentally stimulating elements encouraging a love for learning. You will be responsible for the day to day operations of the Grade 4 classroom while setting the foundation needed to develop lifelong learning skills. You must have strong interpersonal and communication skills and be able to adapt to the diverse needs of the students.

This is a full-time probationary contract teaching position to commence immediately for the 2024-2025 school year. You will be primarily responsible for planning, preparing and delivering the Alberta curriculum at Grade 4 level. Previous experience working within a fast-paced, team environment would be an asset. Preference will be given to an applicant with a degree in Elementary Education along with experience teaching at this level. You must hold a valid Alberta teaching certificate.
