We are searching for an energetic, enthusiastic individual to assume some responsibilities as a part time Principal with Al-Amal Islamic OnLine Academy as well as part time Vice-Principal with Al-Amal Islamic Academy. Ideally, you would possess excellent interpersonal and leadership skills to provide a balanced advocacy for teachers, students and parents. The ability to motivate and inspire staff and students to high levels of achievement along with establishing and maintaining a respectful, orderly and purposeful school environment is essential. Preference will be given to an individual with the expertise to support the overall development of literacy and numeracy for all students.
Al-Amal Academy is located in North West Calgary and provides an Islamic learning environment that offers an accredited program of studies compliant with the Alberta curriculum. Al-Amal Academy is a K-9 school that offers a wide variety of learning opportunities including regular classroom studies as well as foreign language, computer science and sports groups. This is a full time probationary position that includes administration responsibilities for both the Al-Amal Academy and the Al-Amal OnLine Academy. The position is available immediately. An administrative allowance will compensate the administration responsibilities. Preference will be given to an individual who possesses a Master's degree or is working towards one.
