What You Will Do Participate in specification, design and implementation of software features for radio products Develop firmware to verify hardware specifications Perform integration and test procedures and create reports for product compliance. Participate in the on-going support of applications and products, both in-house and with clients. Qualifications You Must Have Must be a Canadian Citizen Must either hold or be eligible for a Government of Canada Secret Level Security Clearance and Controlled Goods Access. Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field or in absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience Qualifications We Prefer Sound skills in C/C++ and real-time embedded computer architectures Software development experience in Linux operating systems Experience with RF testing equipment: spectrum analyzer, oscilloscope, and signal generator. Version Control Systems such as git Object Oriented programming skills Strong communication skills, both oral and written Detail oriented with strong analytical skills Knowledgeable in the software life cycle including definition, requirement analysis and design, implementation, validation and support Good team working ability and self-motivated with a desire to learn Collins Aerospace, a Raytheon Technologies company, is a leader in technologically advanced and intelligent solutions for the global aerospace and defense industry.
