The successful candidate will be called upon to manage a labor, employment and human rights law practice, in a dynamic work environment within a collaborative and supportive team.

Responsibilities
- Provide strategic advice to Human Resources on all aspects of labor and employment law, human rights and Workplace and Insurance boards
- Represent Purolator before administrative tribunals, including grievance arbitrators, the Canada Industrial Relations Board, as well as the Canadian Human Rights Commission and the Human Rights Tribunal.
- Assist with Workplace investigations
- Conduct research and stay ahead of legislative and policy issues that affect employees
- Provide advice and opinions, particularly in relation to contracts with third party service providers
- Bachelor of Civil Law (BCL) and member in good standing of the Quebec or Ontario Bar.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in labor, employment and human rights law
- Experience with employment and labour law particularly relating to the Canada Labor Code and the Commission de la santé et de la sécurité du travail.
- Demonstrated experience before the Administrative boards in relation to labour relations cases
- Fluency in French and English
- Experience with Accessibility law is an asset
- Strong litigation experience and excellent advocacy skills
- Excellent analytical and writing skills
- Self-motivated with a sense of initiative and ability to work in a team
- Ability to effectively manage competing priorities and resolve varied issues using interpersonal and customer service skills
- Negotiation and dispute resolution skills
