What is the opportunity?

The RBC Dominion Securities iscurrently seeking a Telemarketer to join their team. The successful candidate will play a vital role by generating and scheduling appointments in order tosupport a growing Investment Advisor's business. This is a great opportunity for a student or a new graduate who wishes to gain experience in wealth management. The work arrangement will be casual with hours to be determined bases on business needs.

What will you do?

• Follow up with prospectsover the phone regarding sales opportunities
• Prospect and research new business opportunities by identifying, qualifying and contacting leads from various online and offline resources
• Develop pipeline of sales and business opportunity leads through cold calling
• Provide the Investment Advisor with regular updates regarding client leads

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

• Great communication skills
• Exceptional client service skills
• Sales experience in person or over the phone
• Strong work ethic and ability to work withminimal supervision
• Ability to handle challenging calls

Nice-to-have

• Passion for investments
• Experience communicating with clients by phone in a contact/call centre environment
• Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and the Conduct and Practices Handbook Course (CPH)
• Enthusiastic, committed, and entrepreneurial spirit
• University degree in related field
