Educational Assistants are key members of our dynamic classroom teams! They assist the classroom teacher in a variety of organizational tasks in addition to supporting groups of students to support them as they complete learning activities. These are part-time positions as classes run 1 day per week throughout the school year (21 classes; 7 classes per term, 3 terms per year). Positions may be combined to create a larger part-time role.
Qualifications & Expectations:?
Experience and/or EA certification is an asset and/or
Strong interest, related experience, and willingness to learn
Responsibilities may include scribing, giving direction to small groups, reading with learners, playground supervision, and preparing class materials.
Remuneration:
Hourly rate: $21.00 - $22.50
