What will you do?

  • Supervise, train, and coach a team of collections agents to maximize efficiency and effectiveness while ensuring collection goals and KPIs are met or exceeded.
  • Monitor team performance, conduct regular evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and develop action plans to address performance gaps.
  • Analyze accounts to determine appropriate actions, such as payment arrangements, account terminations, retention strategies, or write-offs.
  • Support agents in handling complex or escalated customer cases, balancing collections objectives with customer service excellence.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices while conducting regular audits to maintain compliance.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements and technology enhancements to streamline operations and improve collection performance.
  • Conduct call monitoring and coaching sessions to enhance negotiation skills and improve customer interactions.
  • Develop and implement collection strategies to maximize recovery rates and reduce outstanding balances.
  • Review and analyze reports to identify trends, optimize strategies, and enhance overall portfolio performance.
  • Lead or support business projects and initiatives as required.

What do you bring?

  • Post-secondary education (University Degree, College Diploma or equivalent).Proven experience in collections, credit management, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in a supervisory role, with the ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team.
  • Strong knowledge of collection techniques, debt recovery, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to identify trends and implement corrective actions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and customer service management software.
