The Customer Lifecycle Marketing Specialist will be responsible for day-to-day email operations to meet business objectives such as lead generation marketing efforts. The position will assist in leading the email marketing strategy and tactics to deliver timely and relevant communications to the customer base throughout the customer lifecycle. What will you do?

  • Learn and grow as an important part of a team that cares about Reliance and its customers.
  • Stay current on trends and best practices in lifecycle and channel marketing, advising team and implementing these accordingly
  • Maintain in depth knowledge of CRM - including experience developing a robust customer lifecycle map, defining customer segments, and accelerating growth among current customer base - across email marketing, SMS, and analytics
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of Reliance, including our product category knowledge and our competitive landscape.
  • Create/ Develop and manage a detailed email calendar
  • Create hands on content for Reliance email and SMS, through copywriting
  • Work hands-on to develop and deploying emails within Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Identify areas of improvement to better drive customer conversion into leads
  • Compile weekly status reports to deliver to broader marketing team
  • Support Ad-hoc project work with our finance, IT, HR, and other marketing initiatives
  • Design and execute an A/B testing agenda to understand and enhance marketing effectiveness
  • Ongoing monitoring, tracking, and analyzing delivery of plans and objectives for business to ensure effectiveness; working with the agency and analyst to produce reports, identifying opportunities, tracking efficiencies, and providing input into analysis and recommendations for planning and programs
  • Work with key stakeholders, to ensure detailed KPI tracking is implemented for every campaign, ensuring that web, organic social, paid media, and CRM are working together to track conversions, funnels, and goals/objectives

What do you bring?

  • A growth mindset: above all else, we’re looking for people who are dependable, ambitious and want to grow with Reliance
  • Completion of a degree in a related field
  • Minimum 2-3 years of related experience
  • Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements relating to social media and web communications, including privacy legislation
  • Experience with CRM platforms, salesforce, email deployment tools, html coding and google analytics preferred
  • Knowledge of email and web best practice
  • Excellent Interpersonal and oral/written communication skills to develop, coordinate, and execute emails
  • Ad Agency experience is an asset
