The Opportunity
RVS invites you to apply for a full-time (1.0 FTE) Learning Support teaching position starting immediately and ending June 27, 2025 at Chestermere Lake Middle School. Chestermere Lake Middle School is located in the City of Chestermere, and serves French Immersion and English students from grades 7-9, including the Christian Program. This position is not open to those holding a Continuing Teaching contract with RVS.
The following qualifications are preferred for the Learning
Support Teacher:
Minimum 5 years
classroom teacher experience
1 year educational
background or experience in one of the following areas:
Learning Supports
Inclusive Education
Special Education
Disability Studies
The successful can didate must possess, or be eligible for an Alberta Teaching Certificate. To be eligible for an Alberta Teaching Certificate you must have applied for initial certification with Alberta Education at www.alberta.ca/teacher-certification.
