Rocky View Schools (RVS) is a dynamic, growing school board/jurisdiction in Alberta. Situated to the east, west and north of the city of Calgary?on the traditional territories of the Treaty 7 region of Southern Alberta including the Siksikaitsitapi (Siksika, Kainai, Piikani, Amskapi Pikuni), the Tsuut’ina, the Îyâxe Nakoda Nations (Bearspaw, Chiniki, Goodstoney), and the Métis Nation of Alberta Region 3.

As a Jurisdictional Leader in Rocky View Schools you will:

Your Education and Experience will reflect:
Master’s degree in an area relevant to school-based leadership Possession of a current Alberta Teaching Certificate
In Alberta, teachers designated in principal or acting principal roles must hold the Alberta Leadership Certification (temporary Leadership Certification may be granted but the individual must meet full requirements for Leadership Certification within 3 years)
A minimum of three years as a successful school-based administrator
Outstanding interpersonal skills as well as verbal/written communication skills
Demonstrated ability to remain current with information technologies
