As a Hunter Sales Representative, you will be responsible for aggressively prospecting and generating new business opportunities. The Outside Sale Representative will identify and engage with potential clients, pitching our products/services, and closing deals to achieve sales targets. The ideal candidate is a driven Field Sale Representative with a proven track record in sales, particularly in acquiring new accounts and expanding market share.
Since 1961, Sanivac, a family business, has positioned itself as a leader in various environmental services. Our specialties include the rental of portable toilets and sanitary trailers, sewer cleaning, as well as the pumping of septic tanks and grease traps. We are also experts in hydro-excavation and urban infrastructure maintenance.
Salary: Starting at $60,000 depending on experience, plus performance bonuses
Location: Travel / on the road within Ottawa and surrounding region
Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday

Challenges we have for you:
- Identify and qualify new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and referrals.
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of prospects and opportunities.
- Conduct thorough needs assessments and present tailored solutions to potential clients.
- Close sales and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
- Build and maintain strong and lasting relationships with clients
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless transition and onboarding of new clients.
- Stay updated with industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
Skills we are looking for:
- Proven experience as a hunter-type Sales Representative or similar B2B sales role
- Track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Strong prospecting skills and ability to generate leads independently
- Excellent communication skills for negotiations and presentations
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
- Relevant experience in the construction industry is a significant asset
- Knowledge of CRM software and sales tracking tools
- Proficiency in French and English, both spoken and written, to frequently communicate with some French and English-speaking clients
