0.6 FTE Indigenous Support Teacher
Temporary: Immediately - November 1, 2024 or full return of the incumbent
NOTE: This assignment may end prior to the end date or it may be extended.
Qualifications:
BC Certification
Bachelor of Education or equivalent
Experience with a variety of learning management systems
Demonstrated ability to use a variety of teaching and assessment strategies
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment
Demonstrated ability to support classroom teachers with the embedding of Indigenous knowledge and perspectives in student learning experiences for all students
Demonstrated ability to implement programs and services to assist with academic, personal, and social-emotional needs
Demonstrated ability to connect with families to build effective communication between home, school, and community supports
Excellent communication, interpersonal and classroom management skills

The annual salary for this position ranges from $58,579 to $108,088, with placement on the range based on length of service and qualifications in accordance with the collective agreement.
