POSITION: Teacher Librarian - temporary
ASSIGNMENT: Library - Elementary (K-7)
FTE: 0.5
LOCATION: Riverview Elementary School
EFFECTIVE DATES: Commencing February 4, 2025, until March 14, 2025, or earlier depending on the return of the incumbent, with the possibility of extension
Basic Qualifications: A successful candidate will hold a valid BC Teaching Certificate and be a member in good standing in the BC Ministry of Education, Teacher Regulation Branch AND possess one or more of the following:
Training Specialization: Elementary Education with specialization in library
Related Teaching Experience: Recent successful experience teaching in a school library
A Reasonable Expectation: based on a teacher's skills, abilities, professional development, and overall classroom teaching experience, that the teacher will be able to perform the duties in a successful manner in collaboration with other professional staff.

The annual salary for the full-time Teacher ranges from $61,175 to $109,520 with placement on the range based on length of service and qualifications in accordance with the collective agreement. We also offer a competitive benefits package and pension.
