SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST - PRINCETON SCHOOLS

Nicola Similkameen School District is seeking a 0.5 FTE Continuing Speech-Language Pathologist to serve Princeton Schools.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Must possess a master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Must be a member, or eligible to become a member, of the BCASLPA or CASLPA.
  • Proven willingness to work as part of an educational team providing speech-language services with emphasis on students at the elementary level.
  • Experience working within a school and community health environment.
Princeton and Merritt make up the major communities of the Nicola-Similkameen School District. Princeton is situated in the Similkameen Valley and serves as the gateway to the Southern Okanagan. Princeton is the centre for outdoor recreation throughout the year. Ranching, mining, tourism and forestry are four of the major economic industries in this community.

Salary is based on the teachers’ salary grid, with a full range of benefits available. A mileage allowance will also be provided while on the job. The starting annual salary for this position ranges from $30,045 - $54,760.
