0.2 FTE Nala'atsi Alternate Program Teacher

Indigenous Ancestry required
Indigenous education focus
The successful candidates will demonstrate
Recent teaching experience in grades 10-12 with Indigenous students
Recent experience with curriculum development
Experience with formative assessment
Skills and experience with modifying and adapting curriculum
Experience with and ability to organize and facilitate appropriate culturally based professional development or teacher in-service
Knowledge of learning outcomes for Language Arts, Math, Socials and Science
Ability to work collaboratively with school administrators, teachers and district staff
Ability to work effectively as a member of a collaborative Indigenous Education Team
Awareness of Indigenous protocols and world view
