1.0 FTE TEMP Science Teacher

1.0 FTE Grade 11/12 Science Teacher Salmon Arm Secondary This is a temporary assignment effective January 29, 2025 to June 30, 2025. This assignment consists of teaching Earth Science 11 and Geology 12. Qualifications: Bachelor of Arts or Education (Secondary emphasis preferred); Valid BC teaching certificate and current membership in the Teacher Regulation Branch. Teachers applying should possess the following attributes: academic credentials and/or experience in teaching the above subjects,; a working knowledge of the current curriculum for the above subjects; demonstrated successful experience teaching at Secondary level; commitment to fostering a collaborative and cooperative working environment; committed to stimulating student interest and confidence in learning; evidence of ability to motivate secondary students; demonstrated use of a variety of instructional and assessment strategies; excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment with other staff members; commitment to involving parents in the learning of their children.
