Job Title: Software Engineering - Application Developer

Start/End Dates: 12/9/2024 - 6/30/2025

Job Description: Is this an onsite role? Yes- 2 days per week

Location: 100 Wellington, Toronto, Ontario

Responsibilities:

As an Application Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining Java-based applications.

Your day-to-day activities will include designing, coding, testing, and debugging software applications.

You will be expected to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions. You must have expert proficiency in Java. Design and develop Java-based applications to meet client requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions. Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality.

Troubleshoot and debug software applications to ensure optimal performance. Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in software engineering. Sr Java • Over 7+ years of experience in Java Development(Java/Spring Boot/Spring Batch) • Design and develop microservices/APIs using Java/Spring boot. • Must have strong understanding of Java programming language and Spring/Spring boot framework.

• Must have experience in building and consuming RESTFul APIs and microservices architecture principles and best practices.

• Should have experience in other tools - JIRA, Jenkins, GIT, Bitbucket.

• Experience in Design, build, and configuring applications to meet specific business processes and application requirements.

• Develop and maintain software solutions that support business processes and objectives.

• Write clean, maintainable code that adheres to the project's coding standards.

• Test and debug applications to ensure they meet performance and security standards.

• Optimize application performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise. Perform system analysis and provide technical recommendations for application design and development. Contract to hire.
