Our client is a multi-strategy alternative asset manager with professionals located in Canada (Montreal, Toronto), the US, Europe and Asia. Since 2016, our client has grown exponentially. Assets under management have expanded from US$500M to more thanUS$25B and a team of diverse professionals has grown from 50 to more than 400 team members in just five years.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional IT support with a strong customer service mindset, resolving issues across Windows and Mac platforms efficiently.
  • Lead and manage a small team (3-5 members), providing mentorship and aligning teamefforts with organizational goals.
  • Partner with corporate development to plan and manage the technical aspects of M&A integration.
  • Oversee vendor and third-party management, ensuring alignment with IT practices and operational standards.
  • Drive IT operations management and strategy, leveraging expertise in ITIL frameworks and best practices.
  • Implement and execute a clear IT vision, enhancing security, networking, and system alignment across the ecosystem.


Experience and Skills:

  • Proven track record of leading cross-functional IT initiatives and projects.
  • Familiarity with data platform technologies, dashboards, workflows, and applied AI solutions.
  • Superior analytical skills, sound judgment and good business sense
  • Strong work ethic and ability to multitask, manage stress during periods of intenseactivity, and handle a wide array of projects and tasks
  • Communicate effectively in English and French
  • Travel up to 20% (Toronto, NY, Connecticut) to provide hands-on support and maintain
  • cross-regional IT consistency.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in IT operations and customer support
  • Strong IT security and networking experience
