Our client is Canada’s largest retailer. They are looking for a Int Java (Spring Boot) developer with Kubernetes, Postgres, GCP and data structure experience to support and develop a customer order systems application.

Duration:6 Months to Start

Location: 2-3 days/week - Toronto

• Internal - E-comm platform- built all backend services which power e-comm across the enterprise- All LOBS. 20 + services have been built on this platform.
• This platform powers the browse journey - product discovery - search, inventory, tap log, and on the purchase, sider focus on pricing promo - cart and order systems
• All backend services that enable customers journey from when they land on website to when they check out
• Build in Cloud native deployed in Kubernetes.

Responsibilities:

· Experienced with building complex scalable services using Java, Spring Boot, and design systems experience

· A strong understanding of distributed systems and how architectural decisions affect performance and maintainability

· Experience in collaboration with cross-functional teams, working flawlessly with Devs, PMs, TPMs and other stakeholders

· Experience with taking ownership of tasks, raising risks, blockers and leading the tasks with minimum support

· Quick learner to become productive and deliver business values in short time

· Experience with working with large datasets on REDIS enterprise
