Description
Our valued IT Services client is actively seeking an Int. Bilingual Systems Administrator to support clients with their managed cloud services.
Permanent opportunity, working on-site, in Montreal (St-Laurent). 90% on-site, 10% travel requirements within greater Montreal.
Responsibilities
- Involved in providing operational support for internal systems as well as clients (remote access and onsite).
- Work with various best of breed systems for management and monitoring of assets ranging from endpoints, servers to network components.
- Design, install, maintain, and configure components of a network infrastructure, wireless infrastructure, switches and firewalls.
- Participate in security, compliance, and cloud projects that are becoming a focal point of IT.
Must-Have Skills
- System administration experience (Level 2 or above)
- Expertise in Microsoft Windows Server 2016/2019/2022, Microsoft Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365.
- Proficient in Networking (DNS, DHCP, FTP), Active Directory, network switches, routers, and firewalls.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (Hyper-V and VMware).
- Excellent communication skills in English and French
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Microsoft Certification and other technical certifications (A+, Network+, etc.)
