Position Title: Data Analysts

Line of Business: Operations

What does the LOB do?: supporting personal banking and wealth

Start/End Dates: 2/20/2025 - 10/31/2025

Remote/Hybrid: Hybrid - in office on Wednesdays and every 3rd Friday. Ok for remote resources if they are located outside of the GTA.

Office Location: 81 Bay 24th Floor

Work Schedule (hours per week, start time): 37.5 Hours/week, 9-5 Monday to Friday


Summary of project:

Introduction of AML Regulatory requirement in 2019 requiring financial institutions to ensure client due diligence information is periodically refreshed. In January 2020 The Bank introduced the requirement to do so every two years for high-risk clients and every seven years for non, high-risk clients in the AML Standard.

We are preparing to implement prompts in our client record keeping source to evidence validation of AML information as well as a digital solution for online and mobile banking for clients to complete a periodic validation process aligned to the regulatory requirement.

All Client records will be assigned an AML refresh date with prompts beginning 3 or 6 months in advance of the refresh date (TBC).

Client populations will be rolled out in a staggered approach over the next year



The main function of a Data Analyst is to coordinate changes to computer databases, test, and implement the database applying knowledge of database management systems.

Job Responsibilities:

• Work with senior management, technical and client teams in order to determine data requirements, business data implementation approaches, best practices for advanced data manipulation, storage and analysis strategies

• Write and code logical and physical database descriptions and specify identifiers of database to management system or direct others in coding descriptions

• Design, implement, automate and maintain large scale enterprise data ETL processes

• Modify existing databases and database management systems and/or direct programmers and analysts to make changes

• Test programs or databases, correct errors and make necessary modifications

Must Have Requirement:

- 2-4 years of experience as a Data Analyst

- Advanced Excel skills

Nice to Have:

- Banking background

- Tableau would be great

- Python also

- Strong time management skills

- Able to deliver with multiple timelines

- Strong Teamwork skills
