Intermediate Business Systems Analyst to provide technical support for an OSFI Assurance project for a large banking client - 85851


Line of Business: Enterprise risk management

Target Start Dates: March 11, 2025

Duration: 6 months (Oct 31, 2025)

Remote/Hybrid: Hybrid // Every Monday, first Friday of every month.

Work Location: Downtown Toronto (Financial District)


Interview Process: Microsoft teams interviews, 1 round of interviews.


Team Size? 6 people on the team

Who Will the Candidate Be Working with on a Daily Basis? Direct hiring manager and other BA's. Potentially stakeholders.


Job Description:

• Works with key stakeholders within all business functions to align technology solutions with business strategies.

• Gathers requirements from business units and translates those to programmers and developers.

• Prepares cost-benefit and return-on-investment analyses to aid in decisions on system implementation.

• Demonstrates an informed knowledge of business functions to resolve problems and capitalize on improvement opportunities.

• Supports one or more highly complex business processes.

• Works on multiple projects as a project team member.

• Serves as a liaison between the business community and the IT organization in order to provide technical solutions to meet user needs.

• Formulate system scope and objectives, and validate the developed requirements, testing, training and implementation of applications.

• Assist internal business groups on process improvement projects.

• Provide technical guidance concerning business implications of application development projects.


Must Have Requirement:

- SQL

- Working experience with Oracle

- Proficient with Microsoft Suite (Excel, Visio etc)

- 2-5 years experience. (can be a blend of BA & BSA)

- Strong understanding of banking regulations

- Professional Experience in Risk Management Environments


Nice to Have:

- Credit Risk Experience *** // Very strong nice to have

- Financial industry experience

- OSFI Card Guideline knowledge
