Intermediate DevOps Engineer

REMOTE WORKING ENVIRONMENT

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the containerised infrastructure that supports our software development and production environments using ECS and Serverless. The platform runs on AWS and utilizes technologies such as Lambda, ECS, Docker, Terraform, and heavy CI/CD pipelines. You will work closely with development teams to ensure that our applications are deployed and running smoothly in production. You will also be responsible for taking our ECS platform from the beginning, owning the development, automation, operation, and support of a complete self-service platform that enables our Agile Engineering teams to provision on-demand environments and implement continuous delivery pipelines for new services

Required Skills

• At least 5 years experience as a DevOps/Infrastructure Engineer.

• 2 years of experience with Terraform or similar tooling.

• 2 years of experience with a cloud platform such as AWS, Azure or GCP.

• 2 years of experience with CI/CD tooling such as GitHub Actions or CircleCI.

• 2 years of experience with Docker or similar tooling.

Nice to Have

• Experience with AWS tooling such as EC2, Lambda, Dynamo, RDS, S3 & IAM.

• Experience administering an AWS multi-account configuration.

• Experience administering AWS VPCs.

• Experience with multi-region deployments.

• Knowledge of the Jenkins CI/CD platform.

• Database administration experience, Mongo and or MySQL.

• Experience working with logging tools such as DataDog.

• Knowledge of Serverless framework.

• Experience with Jira and Confluence.

• Experience working in a collaborative, agile environment.
