Description
Our client is looking for an Intermediate Financial Analyst to prepare and deliver financial reporting on 2 large telecommunications projects.
The key skills and experience:
· 5+ years’ experience in Accounting Environments
· Accounting designation: CGA or CA or CMA
· 5 years’ experience in financial analysis (cost allocation, trends, variance analysis, reporting.
· 5 years exp. working with large volumes of data
· 5 years identifying and recommending cost savings.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
· The coordination, preparation and delivery of financial reporting and analysis.
· Preparing journal entries and maintaining accounting records.
· Co-ordinating month end close activity.
· The timely completion of complex account analysis and reconciliations.
· Preparing operating expense variance analysis.
· Maintaining appropriate controls for financial reporting.
· Validating current financial data, recommending and ensuring that costs are coded and allocated to the correct place
· Variance analysis and developing trends
· Processing invoices and making recommendations to drive financial improvements
