Our Fin-Tech Client is in need of a Intermediate Payments Operations Analyst specializing in Automatic Fund Transfers (AFT) to support the Director of Operations
Must Have:
- 5+ years experience within Payments Operations and Payments Processing
- AFT preferred, Wires, RTR, Bill Pay, e-transfer, Cheques
- Identification of operational requirements and opportunities for improvement/enhancement
- Gathering information by observing workflows, reading company reports, conducting employee interviews, and finding efficiency opportunities
- Developing, implementing, and training on optimized processes/procedures including quality control measures
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
- 5+ years experience with Microsoft Suite and Productivity tools
- 1+ years experience with incident management
Nice to Haves:
- Payments Canada Rules and Standards
- Project Management/Coordination experience
Key Responsibilities
The Operations Specialist is required to identify Operational Changes, define new processes that will help us streamline daily operations to ensure efficiency The operations specialist is experienced in payments services and processing. The Operations Specialist needs to be comfortable communicating with people throughout the organization, able to solve problems, identify and ask questions to ensure there is clarity. All leading to identify and implement new ideas that will drive operational efficiencies and prepare support team for operational changes. Adept at estimating and managing time for a variety of tasks ensuring quality is not compromised. The operations specialist is a coordinator who has a strong sense of big-picture objectives and a sharp eye for detail. They will be involved with Incident Management for major incidents to gather information to assist in resolution and to facilitate client and internal communications.
