What project will this contractor be working on? They will be working on compliance for The Bank's compliance for bill 64

Target Start Date: 6/28/2024 -- ASAP

Duration: 6 months

Remote/Hybrid: Hybrid - 5 days a month on site at CIBC square // Wednesday of every week and 4th Friday every month

Office Location: 81 Bay 14th Floor


Job Description:

• Oversee the overall enterprise program management for the digital tracking component of Quebec Law 25 to achieve regulatory compliance.

• Take full accountability for multiple work packages, including technology delivery, risk assessment, people change management, go-to-market strategies, and organize strategic work packages with stakeholders.

• Manage and coordinate with various stakeholder groups including change management teams, technology PMOs, business leads, Privacy & Legal teams, throughout the project lifecycle.

• Consolidate weekly status updates from different teams and deliver a unified progress report to senior management.

• Develop a governance model and facilitate regular touchpoints to discuss key updates, risks, decisions, or issues throughout the project lifecycle.

• Initiate, manage, and conclude risk assessments in collaboration with teams, and communicate findings to relevant parties.

• Partner with the enterprise people change management team to manage work with governance and controls teams, ensuring continuous monitoring and reporting.

• Collaborate with business and controls teams to establish ongoing sustenance and monitoring activities to maintain compliance with regulations.

• Proactively identify and document risks, collaborate with stakeholders for mitigation strategies, manage the risk log, and provide consistent risk reporting.

• Communicate effectively with stakeholders through emails or meetings and maintain a proactive approach


Must Have Requirement:

- minimum 2 to 3 years of experience having worked at a bank previously

- minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in Program Management Roles

- A demonstrated understanding of The Bank's business processes and systems

- Familiarity with the Bank technology Teams

- Experience in delivering large programs with large number of stakeholders

- experience working with a budget of around $5 million on previous programs


Nice to Have:
