Our energy client is looking for an Intermediate Liquid Pipeline Integration Coordinator to coordinate the execution of capital maintenance for operational projects (25622)


Title: Execution & Integration Coordinator

Location: Regina or Sherwood Park

Business Unit: Liquid Pipelines

Duration: 1 year (with a possibility of extension)

Start Date: ASAP

Hybrid Work - Mon/Tues/Thurs in office, Weds/Fri at home

**Travel to operating locations and construction sites up to 25% of the time**


Job Description:


The primary focus of this role is to coordinate the safe execution of capital maintenance, right of way repairs and maintenance, and operational projects within Prairie Region. Projects include electrical and mechanical equipment repair and/or replacement, earthworks and civil repair, as well as support for environmental drilling and monitoring.


Specific Accountabilities:

Project Execution:

  • Provide input into the preparation of the Regional operating and capital projects
  • Develop the execution schedule, identifying key milestones and aligning execution with existing outages
  • Identify risks and corresponding mitigation plans, and finalize permits and/or regulatory applications
  • Lead the selection of resources required to accomplish project scope
  • Establish purchase orders and procure materials
  • Collaborate with regional personnel and contractors to ensure projects are executed safely, follow Enbridge standards and are on schedule and budget
  • Ensure quality documentation (technical records and drawings) is produced in accordance with Enbridge
  • Standards throughout the lifecycle of the project and turned over to Asset Information Management
  • Ensure constructed and repaired assets meet project sponsor and operational requirements
  • Ensure all aspects of project closure are completed as per Prairie Region’s Project Lifecycle Process
  • Project Integration:
  • Represent Prairie Region Operations throughout the lifecycle of the capital project. Provide input on project scope, design drawing, equipment selection, and in-service dates.
  • Participate in project meetings (SORT and START reviews, PHA’s, as well as design and constructability reviews)
  • Ensure the Operations Acceptance Criteria and PSSR are completed with no outstanding deficiencies


Scope/Dimensions:

  • Execute capital and operational projects to ensure operational reliability and safety
  • Provide input into the preparation of the Regional operating and capital projects
  • Provide valuable input into the development of contractor specifications, contractor qualification, and safety guidelines for work provided by contractors
  • Develop technical solutions to operational and maintenance issues identified within capital and operational projects
  • Ensure compliance with all Enbridge and regulatory requirements pertaining to health, safety, and environment
  • Provide input into the development of contractor specifications, contractor qualification, training requirements, and safety guidelines for work performed by 3rd party contractors


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Post-secondary education in engineering or construction management with 4 or more years of previous related experience or equivalent combination of education and pipeline maintenance and construction experience
  • Knowledge of the Energy sector's Construction Standards and Specifications, as well as Operations and Maintenance Manuals
  • Electrical background/experience would be valued
