Description
Our client is Canada’s largest retailer. They are looking for an Intermediate Security Analyst to support SOC2 Type 2 compliance initiatives including control mapping, gap analysis, and audit remediation activities.
Duration: 6 Months
Location: 4 days/week onsite - Brampton
Responsibilities:
- Review the SOC2 agreement and mapping its requirements to the organization's control catalog.
- Work with key stakeholders across business units to understand their requirements and help translate those into actionable security controls.
- Identify and assess gaps in existing security controls, ensuring alignment with SOC2 requirements.
- Execute remediation activities to address identified control gaps and ensure continuous improvement.
- Support SOC2 audits, assisting with evidence gathering and ensuring smooth audit workflows.
Must Have Skills:
- Experience supporting SOC2 Type 2 assessments and audits.
- Experience identifying control gaps and executing remediation efforts.
- Understanding of the AICPA Trust Criteria in SOC2 assessments.
- Strong understanding of security frameworks (SOC2, NIST, ISO 27001)
