Junior Help Desk Analyst to provide tier 1 support for hardware, software and mobile device issues for our public sector client (Req 365)

Our public sector client is seeking a Junior Help Desk Analyst to provide tier 1 support for hardware, software and mobile device issues


37.5 hours/week. Candidates must be in Calgary as this will be a Hybrid work environment


Must haves:

  • 1+ year of experience as a Helpdesk or Deskside support analyst providing hardware and software support
  • 1+ year of experience with Microsoft Windows Active Directory, MS tools, printer support, mobile device support
  • Experience with ITSM ticketing systems (Remedy, ServiceNow, Heat, OTRS)


Nice-to-haves:

  • Experience with security camera systems such as Milestone and Indigo
  • Experience with physical security systems such as Lenel and Commend
  • Experience with mobile radio devices such as Bell PTT
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to communicate both internally and externally
  • Strong customer service skills and team work skills
  • Ability to work with minimal direction.


Responsibilities:

Responsibilities will include tier 1 help desk duties such as managing IT Tickets, liaising with end-users, troubleshooting IT incidents, deploying IT hardware, software and peripherals.
