Our Calgary client is looking for a Portfolio Coordinator specializing in administration to support an IT Digital Portfolio.

One year contract. January start. Hybrid working environment.

Must Haves:

• 5+ years of experience as a Portfolio Coordinator or Portfolio Assistant, specializing in Portfolio Administration.
• Proficiency in JD Edwards, Financial Reporting Tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Expertise in onboarding, financial tracking, and governance within project management environments.
• Strong understanding of Project Delivery Methodologies (PDM) and portfolio management best practices.
• Exceptional communication skills, capable of engaging diverse teams and leadership.

Nice to Haves:

• Fluency with MS Project, SharePoint, and Power BI.
• Project management certifications (PMP, CAPM, or equivalent).
• Experience preparing Statements of Work (SoW) and tracking progress.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate smooth onboarding and offboarding of project portfolio resources, ensuring orientation sessions, tool access, and resource optimization.
• Collaborate with Project Managers to maintain timelines, monitor financial cycles, and ensure accurate project health updates.
• Track and report portfolio-level risks and issues, escalating as necessary to leadership.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, sponsors, and executives, fostering a collaborative environment.
• Support demand planning and resource allocation processes, ensuring alignment with future work priorities.
• Oversee adherence to the Project Delivery Methodology (PDM), providing dependencies, milestones, and data point integration for success.
