Senior Automation Quality Assurance Test Lead to develop test strategies and roadmaps to support a multi-year project

Our valued client is seeking a Senior Automation Quality Assurance Test Lead to develop test strategies and roadmaps to support a multi-year project.

An initial 1-year contract - with possible two 1-year extensions (3 years total). Hybrid work model in Ottawa, Montreal, or Toronto.

Responsibilities:

• Recommend and implement QA process improvements throughout the SDLC.
• Identify a roadmap for CI/CD tooling as it relates to testing.
• Deliver a program/enterprise QA strategy.
• Deliver a QA governance framework and key performance measures.
• Provide coaching and subject matter expertise to various levels of stakeholders on QA and software development methods (shift-left, test-driven development, behavior-driven development, gherkin, etc.)
• Analyze test results and test data and flag potential design issues or missed requirements.
• Develop and implement a process for test data management and data anonymization.
• Develop a framework for continuous performance and load testing.
• Recommend and implement QA process improvements throughout the SDLC.
• Identify a roadmap for CI/CD tooling as it relates to testing.

Must Have Skills:

• 5+ years experience as an Automation QA Test Lead following Agile methodologies (Scrum, Disciplined Agile, Kanban, DevOps)
• Experience using test automation software (i.e., Katalon, Tosa, Selenium)
• Experience using Azure DevOps
• Experience working in the Bank/ Finance industry
• Experience executing a variety of test methodologies, including performance testing, load testing, integration testing, and acceptance testing
• Experience in the development of quality management strategies, testing strategies, and roadmaps
