Senior Business Analyst to identify systems requirements and serve as a product owner for a Telecommunications client

Our valued Telecommunications client is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to identify systems requirements and serve as a product owner for several digital solutions!

Initial 6-month contract in Ottawa, ON (remote) with strong possibility of extension. 8 hours per day, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities:

• Experience in multiple business areas and on multiple project types and can incorporate interdepartmental dependencies and inpact into project.
• Lead and coach other business analysts at all levels.
• Act as a liaison between the IT development group and business units for the development and implementation of new systems and enhancement of existing systems
• Evaluate new applications and identify systems requirements
• Evaluate new IT developments and evolving business requirements, and recommends appropriate systems alternatives and/or enhancements to current systems
• Prepare communications and makes presentations on system enhancements and/or alternatives. Works under the direction of a project manager.

Must-Have Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, or Product Owner
• 10+ years of experience in the Telecommunications industry

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

• Excellent communication skills in both English and French
