Senior Business Analyst to provide day to day Business Analytical support.

Our valued Public Sector Client is looking for a Senior Business Analyst to provide day to day Business Analytical support.

Specifically, for the AIT (Automatic Identification Technology) Project, the resource will aid in a smooth transformation to help define new processes to support the re-designs for documentation, look at policies and procedures, integrations with systems, liaising with stakeholders, running workshops.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Reviewing existing work processes and organizational structure within the organization.
• Conducting interviews and information gathering sessions and undertaking gap analysis on existing business processes.
• Analyzing existing business processes, identifying opportunities for process improvements;
• Analyzing business functional requirements to identify information, procedures and decision flows;
• Identifying and providing preliminary costs of potential options;
• Identifying required modifications for the automated processes;
• Defining and documenting a new business processes using Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) tools such as, but not limited to, flow charts, use case diagrams, activity diagrams, etc.

Must Haves:

• Degree or Diploma (Business, Engineering, etc.)
• Business Process Modelling 5+years
• Business Requirements/Outcomes 2+ years
• Secret Clearance

Nice to Haves:

• Experience working at the Department of National Defense (DND) 2+ years
• Bilingual (French and English)
