Senior Business Analyst to refine user stories and support user acceptance testing (UAT) for a crown corporation client

Our valued crown corporation client is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to gather business requirements and produce key business artifacts for a major banking operations portfolio!

Initial 6-month contract with possibility of extension to a total term of 1 year. Hybrid: 8 days/month of on-site work required in downtown Ottawa, ON. Candidates who can only work 100% remote will also be considered.

Responsibilities:

• Elicit and document functional and non-functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria in consultation with business partners to align to their objectives
• Test software features against acceptance criteria and document results
• Support user acceptance testing and end-user training
• Plan and document activities for key milestones and track progress against plan
• Support the development and reporting of performance metrics

Must Have Skills:

• 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst gathering requirements and supporting the refinement of user stories
• Demonstrated experience as a Project Manager or Product Owner
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM

Nice-to-have Skills:

• International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA), Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) designation
• Certification as a BA or Product Owner (CBAP, CSPO etc..)
