Our client is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to support with project delivery for a case management system for a public sector client. (539)

This project requires onsite meetings 3 times a month in Edmonton at consultant's expense

Must Have:

  • 8+ years as a Business Analyst specializing in Business Process Redesign, Business Trans formation and Facilitation.
  • 8+ years' experience translating business requirements into detailed technical requirements in an enterprise IT environment.
  • 8+ years' experience with written and verbal communications including specific experience in drafting strategic business and technical documentation.
  • 5+ years experience in Change Management in the support of business change with system automation and throughout the implementation lifecycle.
  • 5+ years' experience with project coordination including status reporting, tracking, escalations and reporting.
  • 5+ years' experience with Vendor Management and coordination of business and vendor and TI information and connections to support implementation.

Additional Requirements:

  • 8+ years with the following:
    • Experience in facilitating meetings and communicating with senior management and project stakeholders
    • Experience in the design, development and implementation of complex IT solutions
    • Experience UAT for multi-stakeholder environment
  • 4+ years' experience of Public Sector experience



Duties:

  • Senior BA that will facilitate workshops, produce documentation of current and future state, produce RFP’s and provide support, change management and coordination for implementation of software to modernize and enhance the business.
    • Lead consultations and facilitate stakeholder meetings.
    • Create business requirements, functional specifications and technical requirements.
    • Create new business and technical processes and complete business process reviews/re-engineering for existing processes.
    • Facilitate business process improvement sessions.
    • Facilitate vendor and business workshops to translate business requirements to technical requirements.
    • Schedule, organize and lead project status meetings at all levels (business, vendor, TI) and other meetings as required.
    • Provide support by bridging communication between vendors, client ministries, and corporate technical and business teams.
    • Escalate unresolved issues/risks, options and recommendations.
    • Participate iterative development to provide oversight and ensure TI connections are provided to vendor.
    • Perform project coordination, business and technical analysis for implementation of a complex case management system.
    • Prepare, update and manage documents defining the business requirements, software requirements, functional design, and project plans and schedules reflecting achievable deliverables for the applications.
    • Prepare regular project status reports indicating project deliverables, possible risk and issues, time-lines and anticipated effort.
    • Ensure appropriate project communication occurs to all parties involved during all phases of the project.
    • Identify and support in the development of required user training and materials.
    • Identify and support in the development and implementation of User Acceptance Testing.
    • Additional responsibilities as required by the Project Manager for a Business Analyst or Lead Technical Analyst role
