Our valued Telecommunications client is seeking an Senior C#.NET and Javascript (Node.JS) Developer to build identity platforms utilizing protocols such as OpenID Connect & OAuth 2.0 Flow on AWS Cloud!

Initial 1-year contract with strong possibility of extension. 8 hours per day, Monday to Friday. Interested applicants must be located in Ottawa, ON with the ability to work in a hybrid schedule 3 days/week in downtown Ottawa.

As the successful candidate, you will have an in-depth experience of identity management at the application level as well as a solid understanding of cloud computing, particularly within AWS environments.

Responsibilities:

• Identity Management: Design and implement identity solutions using protocols such as OAuth2, OpenID Connect (OIDC), SAML, and Kerberos for federated identity management.
• Cloud Application Development: Build and maintain identity platforms across AWS, Azure, and GCP, leveraging serverless architectures (e.g., AWS Lambda) and other cloud services.
• Operational Excellence: Develop end-to-end solutions encompassing operational aspects such as pipelines, database scripts, and observability through tools like OpenTelemetry (OTel).
• Team Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to team members to foster skill development and best practices.
• Collaboration: Engage with business partners and enterprise architects to align technical solutions with business needs.
• Solution Development: Write high-quality code and build comprehensive solutions

Must-have Skills

• 5+ years' experience as a full-stack developer developing applications from scratch with C#.NET and Javascript (Node.JS)
• Proven experience with identity protocols (e.g. OIDC, OAuth2, SAML, Kerberos) to facilitate authentication and authorization
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, GCP, Azure) and experience deploying applications within them.

Nice-to-have Skills

• Demonstrated experience developing and deploying solutions on AWS specifically
• Demonstrated experience working with observability tools such as OpenTelemetry, DataDog, AppDynamics, Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, etc.
• Excellent communication skills in both English & French
