Our valued public sector client is seeking to hire a Senior Cybersecurity Consultant to develop the IT/Cyber Security Business Continuity Plan for IT Systems.


Background:


Information risk is a prime risk that the organization's Cyber Security strategy and plan are attempting to mitigate and reduce substantially and progressively. Reducing this risk requires a bundle of actions in various security areas, one of which is ensuring Business continuity and disaster recovery. The contractor will develop the IT/Cyber Security Business Continuity Plan by engaging with all L1 organizations and ensuring current, viable, and relevant BCPs for their IT systems and services and rolling up the results to a departmental plan as required.


Tasks:


  • Provide the Cyber Security Business Continuity Plan .
  • Conduct and/or manage IT Security Authorization and Accreditation (SA&A) assessments that include, but are not limited to, the following: security impact assessments, threat risk assessments, vulnerabilities assessments, privacy impact assessments, business impact assessments, and compliance testing of security requirements (Security Requirements Traceability Matrix);
  • Provide a list of all BCP Stakeholders who are key IT and IT Security staff having a stake in and responsibility for business continuity planning, provision, and execution.
  • Engage all Level 1s BCP Coordinators and seek visibility and inventory of L1 BC plans.

  • Cyber Security - 10+ years
  • Business Continuity Planning (BCP) - 10+ years
