Our national retail client is looking for a Senior Data Governance Change Manager responsible for leading and managing change initiatives - 29769

Duration: 1 year contract to start

Location: Mississauga (3 days, up to 5 days in office)

Work hours: 37.5 /hr a week

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement change management strategies and plans that maximize employee adoption and minimize resistance.
• Design and implement change management plans specific to data governance initiatives. Assess the impact of data governance changes on various stakeholders and identify potential challenges.
• Engage with key stakeholders to gain buy-in and support for change initiatives. Communicate effectively to ensure stakeholders are informed and involved.
• Develop and execute a comprehensive communication plan to keep all stakeholders informed.
• Assess training needs and develop training programs to prepare employees for changes. Coordinate and deliver training sessions, ensuring materials are relevant and effective.
• Identify potential resistance to change and develop strategies to address it. Foster a culture of openness and feedback encourages engagement. Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather input and address concerns.
• Effectiveness of change management efforts. Analyze feedback and adjust strategies as necessary.

Must Haves:

• 10+ years of experience in change management
• 4+ years of experience performing change management within Data Governance
• Strong knowledge of change management principles and methodologies (e.g., Prosci, ADKAR).

• Strong understanding of Data Life cycle
• Knowledge on data processes and data governance
