Senior DevOps Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead with expertise and inspire: Build and mentor a highly motivated DevOps team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.

• Design for resilience and security: Architect a scalable, secure, and reliable AWS environment that meets the stringent regulatory demands of the FinTech industry (SOC2 compliance is a must).

• Automate like a pro: Liberate your team from manual drudgery by scripting deployments, infrastructure provisioning, and application monitoring, maximizing eSiciency and eliminating bottlenecks.

• Master Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Compose symphonies of infrastructure using Terraform, ensuring consistency, repeatability, and streamlined configuration across the cloud.

• Hunt down glitches with precision: Be the technical sleuth, diagnosing and resolving service disruptions across the entire infrastructure stack, from batch jobs and data stores to application functionalities and load balancing.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience as a DevOps Engineer: Experience wielding a deep understanding of all major AWS services

(VPC, Beanstalk, CloudWatch, Cognito, Lambda, EKS, API Gateway, SQS, SNS, and more).

• Mastery of CI/CD tools, DevSecOps, and GitOps: These are your native languages, and you speak them fluently.

• Strong proficiency with Terraform: You've built and deployed complex infrastructure with both Terraform and CloudFormation, but Terraform is your weapon of choice.

• Containerization and orchestration expertise: Docker and Kubernetes are your close companions, and you orchestrate them with the precision of a maestro.

• Top-notch analytical and problem-solving skills: You're a critical thinker who thrives on unraveling complex issues and devising optimal solutions.

• Experience with cloud orchestration tools: You've tamed the wild beast of cloud orchestration and can keep everything running smoothly and eSiciently.

• Serverless experience: A bonus point if you've explored the world of serverless and can leverage its power strategically.

• Scripting mastery: Python, Javascript, Bash, and Java scripting are your tools, and you wield them with elegance and precision.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills: You can translate technical complexities into clear and concise messages for both technical and non-technical audiences.
