Senior ECM Business Analyst to ensure successful implementation of the ECM aimed at modernizing the organization's approach to content management

Our public-owned company client is looking for a Senior ECM Business Analyst to ensure successful implementation of the ECM aimed at modernizing the organization's approach to content management.

This is 4 days/week in the office in Burnaby, 8-month long contract. (35hrs per week)

MUST HAVE:

• 6+ years in a Business Analysis role, preferably in medium to large IT departments.
• 3+ years' experience in implementing SaaS and COTS products, digital transformation initiatives, and familiarity with BPMN.
• Knowledge of SharePoint Online, M365, and ECM platforms like OpenText or Collabware

NICE TO HAVE:

• Experience with information architecture, data integrity, and records management
• Background in government, project management, or change management

Duties:

• Lead requirement gathering and analysis from project stakeholders.
• Contribute to RFPs by translating business requirements into technical specifications.
• Assess the impact of proposed requirements on existing systems and collaborate with technical specialists.
• Document current and future data flows, processes, and business requirements in various formats.
• Conduct process reviews, gap analyses, and impact assessments for system changes.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure that business goals are met throughout the project lifecycle.
• Plan and coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) and application functional testing.
• Monitor vendor ticketing systems and document issues.
