Description
Our GTA based, Municipal Government client requires the services of a Senior Front End Developer to create a public-facing web portal for taking payments and enable the portal to be interfaced with SAP in the backend for reporting and reconciliation.
ROLE:
Our Client is authorized to collect for various services related to emergency response or fire code enforcement. The vast majority of charges were paid by cheque and sent by mail or hand-delivered onsite. The Online Payment project aims to create an online, secure and user-friendly portal for payments. To complete this work, the Development Specialist (Front End Developer) service is required to create a public-facing web portal for taking payments and enable the portal to be interfaced with SAP in the backend for reporting and reconciliation. The service includes designing and developing public-facing portals using various Front-End development technologies, collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate front-end applications with back-end systems, designing enterprise solutions to meet business requirements, creating and reviewing project deliverables, and more.
MUST HAVE:
Extensive experience in developing Single Page Application development using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, JQuery, Bootstrap, and frameworks such as Backbone, React as well as API integration with REST (JSON, XML) APIs.
Extensive experience working independently with minimal supervision on application architecture and integration as well as managing architecture diagrams, technical documents, risk assessment, digital accessibility compliance, and QA/UAT feedback.
Extensive experience in root cause analysis during unanticipated outages by providing troubleshooting and debugging recommendations and support.
Experience developing digital products that comply with accessibility standards and/or best practices (WCAG 2.x AA, AODA, WAI-ARIA) while optimizing accessibility features of the platform (Web, iOS, Android).
