Senior Healthcare Business Analyst for a large-scale digital healthcare transformation project

Must Haves:

• Minimum of 5 years experience in business analysis in a healthcare setting;

• The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions;

• Excellent documentation, planning, organizational, and time management skills;

• Ability to grasp and understand complex problems and re-engineer business processes;

• Ability to explain and simplify complex business problems in layman’s terms;

• Knowledge of general project management principles and business application operational methodologies;

• Experience with health system business implementation and deployment projects;

Experience with and/or knowledge of change management, workflow analysis and redesign, business process integration, and/or evaluation/quality improvement, preferably in the health sector;

• Ability to use variety of MS Product suite tools such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.

• Experience with Enterprise Architect is preferred


Responsibilities:

Engaging and communicating with a variety of stakeholders across functional areas (operations, service delivery, etc.), leading and conducting business analysis, assessing problems/opportunities, and effectivity gathering user requirements

• Synthesizing information and translating requirements in meaningful ways, generating various business process artifacts & related documents (presentations, briefing notes), developing and/or updating/maintaining detailed workflows

• Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions • Leading ongoing reviews of business processes and developing optimization strategies

• Conducting meetings and creating/delivering presentations to share ideas and findings, effectively communicating business processes to cross-functional team members and management

• Ensuring solutions meet business needs and requirements, and regulatory compliance

• Performing user acceptance testing and assisting with test scripts

• Updating, implementing and maintaining business processes

• Prioritizing initiatives based on business needs and project requirements

• Serving as a liaison between user stakeholder group and project/technical teams, collaborating with an internal team

• Managing competing priorities

• Monitoring deliverables and ensuring timely completion of projects
