Description
Our telecommunications client is looking for 2 Senior Network Security Engineers to provide Security Team Operational and Project Support
Initially a 6 months contract with a possibility of extension. Fully remote in PST hours with occassional travel on-site. 7.5 hrs per day, Open to candidates across Canada.
Must Haves:
- Experience with architecting, deploying and troubleshooting Cisco ASA and Cisco FTD, Cisco Firewall Migration.
- Experience or knowledge of IT Network, Data Centre, Internet Protocol, File Transfer, Spam.
Nice to Haves:
- Experience with IDS/P technologies (McAfee, Cisco), IPSec and SSL VPN’s (Cisco), Remote Authentication (TACACS+, RSA SecurID), and Content Filtering (Websense, Cisco IronPort).
- Troubleshooting of LAN/WAN multi-vendor environments including inter-networking technologies (including Cisco, Juniper and Nortel), IP applications and protocols (including HTTP/S, POP, SMTP, FTP, TELNET, SSH, NNTP, LDAP, SNMP), and telecommunications facilities (Frame Relay, Ethernet)
- Expertise with security methodologies, standards, and best practices (i.e: ITIL, ISO 17799/BS7799, and other security-related practices are an asset)
